The Public Sector Needs a Pay Rise: É«ÀÇÉçÇø2022 Wages ClaimÌý
The É«ÀÇÉçÇørecognises the hard work and dedication that our members bring to the public sector. You deserve a decent pay-rise to stay afloat with the ever-rising cost of living.Ìý
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas launched our campaign this year for a minimum pay-rise of 3.6 per cent, with any increase to superannuation paid on top of that and that superannuation be paid on the unpaid portion of the first 12 months of parental leave. The current NSW Liberal-National Government’s unfair Public Sector Wages Policy cap of 2.5 per cent must be scrapped.Ìý

How does the campaign and pay claim impact School Psychologists?Ìý
The increase due to School Psychologists in January 2022 has not yet been paid. Your union is seeking the 2.5 per cent pay-rise to be awarded to you as a matter of urgency, through the current Award negotiations. Ìý
We sent a bulletin outlining what we are doing to fight for this earlier this week. If you haven’t read it yet you can do so Ìý
All future É«ÀÇÉçÇøpay-rise demands for School Psychologists will be in line with the minimum of the 3.6 per cent campaign outlined above. Ìý
