É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers are invited to join É«ÀÇÉçÇøindustrial officer Tracey Valentino and É«ÀÇÉçÇøorganiser Rachel Eldred for a lunchtime members’ meeting Wednesday 12 August.
The meeting will be held onsite at the Pitt Street office but there will also be an online option for members who work at another office or who aren’t onsite on the day (details below).
Joint Consultative Committee meeting
Industrial officer Tracey Valentino attended the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meeting with management in June.
At the meeting there was ongoing discussion around the workload impacts associated with Compass. Management advised that they expected productivity impacts during implementation and said while the system is stabilising there should be no pressure put on employees to increase output.
However, É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers continue to report multiple issues with the new system and have expressed the need for it to be better managed.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøalso raised ongoing concerns around workload transparency and the consultation process at the JCC. In response, management said a workload / activity measurement tool was being developed, along with a clearer documented change management process.
