NSW Trustee & Guardian has issued a change management document titled Draft Transition Plan.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇølodged a dispute in the Industrial Relations Commission over concerns about consultation, particularly the lack of information concerning the proposed changes and the failure to provide a copy of the business plan.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøis also providing submissions to NSWTAG about the Draft Transition Plan and is seeking to ensure a fair set of procedures which limit potential for job losses.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill be holding follow-up meetings with NSWTAG staff as the change management process continues.
Call monitoring recording pilot
NSW Trustee and Guardian (NSWTAG) recently conducted a one-month pilot of its Call Recording and Monitoring Project in the following NSWTAG offices:
- Parramatta
- Wollongong
- Property branch in specialist services.
At the Joint Consultative Committee on 20 August 2015, NSWTAG agreed to reconvene the Call Monitoring Committee to discuss results of the pilot and consult about any future proposals.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøseeks feedback from members who were affected by the pilot and any other members of NSWTAG who are concerned about Call Monitoring.
Work overload survey
The É«ÀÇÉçÇørecently issued a survey to its members in Trustee and Guardian in relation to work overload. The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhad been advised this is an issue of concern to some of our members.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøis seeking to ensure the Trustee and Guardian addresses its duty of care to staff particularly during a time of organisational change.

- Raise any issues you are experiencing with your workplace delegates.
- Talk to your colleagues about joining the É«ÀÇÉçÇøand attending union meetings.
- Attend all meetings and briefings so you have as much information about the change management processes as possible.
