Each month, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøCPSU NSW highlights a benefit available to our members. This month, we are focusing on the range of insurance options available through WageCover.
WageCover
WageCover provides a range of insurance solutions designed to offer financial protection and peace of mind to É«ÀÇÉçÇøCPSU NSW members and their families, including cover for personal injuries, accidents occurring during travel to and from work, and loss of income due to illness or injury.
Some benefits are included in membership fees, while others are available for an additional cost.
Personal Injury Insurance
Personal Injury insurance is provided to É«ÀÇÉçÇøCPSU NSW members at no additional cost as part of their membership. The policy provides financial benefits in the event of certain accidental injuries or death, subject to the policies terms and conditions.
Broken bones, hospital stays due to a workplace incident is a new benefit for members only.
Members may also extend this cover to their immediate family members for an additional $11 per year.

Journey Insurance
Journey Insurance is included in É«ÀÇÉçÇømembership fees and provides financial protection for eligible members who sustain an injury while travelling directly between their home and workplace. The policy provides access to weekly injury benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements and policy conditions.

WageCover Income Protection – Corrective Services and Justice NSW Members
WageCover offers a specialised income protection policy for eligible Corrective Services and Justice NSW members, designed to provide financial assistance where illness or injury affects their ability to work. This optional insurance is available for an additional premium and provides cover subject to the policy’s terms, conditions and eligibility requirements.

WageCover also offers optional income protection insurance to É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers, providing financial support in the event that an eligible illness or injury prevents them from working. This insurance is available for an additional premium and is designed to assist members in maintaining financial stability during periods of incapacity.
