ROSTERING ARRANGEMENTS IN THE TOR

The É«ÀÇÉçÇønotified members in August because an agreement reached during the TfNSW award negotiations started discussions around developing rostering principles, addressing fatigue and, roster development.
These discussions are for all TfNSW award covered employees within the TOR. This bulletin can be found HERE.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas met twice with management to lay the foundation for these negotiations.Ìý As was put by the É«ÀÇÉçÇøto TfNSW, it is evident that this is long overdue and fatigue management encompasses many more aspects of rostering than just fatigue management principles.
At this stage, we are yet to provide any particulars to management and are pressing for TfNSW to provide the current ‘business rules’ utilised for rostering.Ìý The É«ÀÇÉçÇøis insisting that TfNSW provide these ‘business rules’ by next week.Ìý The next meeting is to be scheduled towards the end of November.
