The É«ÀÇÉçÇø& members have serious concerns about how the Department intends to conduct the Health Check in the HSD.
The Department of Education has failed to address those concerns and ensure that members are able to participate in the Health Check in a fair and confidential manner.
We are supportive of the concept of a health check but the confidentiality of staff in this process is vital to ensure its integrity.
Consequently, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis now advising members NOT to participate in the Health Check scheduled for next week.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas requested a meeting with the Deputy Secretary of Corporate Services to agree on a fair, transparent and confidential process that members can have confidence in.
