The Acting Secretary for the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) met with staff on 1 June 2023 to announce the beginning of the consultation period through to 14 June 2023 on the proposed changes to DPC that will see the creation of the Premier’s Department and the Cabinet Office.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwas invited to attend the staff meeting and the Acting Secretary had also met with the É«ÀÇÉçÇøGeneral Secretary on 30 May 2023 to advise your union of the upcoming consultation process.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøunderstands that there will be no job losses or voluntary redundancies offered. An outline of the rationale behind the proposal and the changes has been provided in the briefing presentation given to staff and the PSA.
