Your newly elected Aboriginal Education Officers Advisory Group met for the first time at É«ÀÇÉçÇøHouse on 6 August 2026.
This group is comprised of É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers who will meet regularly to discuss issues unique to Aboriginal Education Officers. These delegates will advocate for Aboriginal Education Officers across the state ensuring every member’s voice is heard.
The delegates kicked off their first meeting discussing big ticket items such as:
Changes to the Aboriginal Education Officers Statement of duties
Aboriginal Education Officers staffing entitlement
Changes to workers compensation
Thriving Kids program
