Flex Time is my Time campaign
This year the CPSU NSW is running a campaign around Flex, called Flex Time is My Time. Flex time is of importance to professional staff, and is often overlooked by the university because it does not affect academics. The Flex Time is My Time campaign is about respecting professional staff and demanding that our rights and conditions are supported at work.
RSVP and order a badge
This will be a yearlong campaign, and there are a number of ways in which all CPSU NSW members can be involved. Firstly, we are asking all members to wear a Flex Time is My time badge on Wednesday 26 February. is what the badge looks like.
If you would like to participate please RSVP .
Once you have RSVPed, a CPSU NSW Delegate will contact you and provide you with the badge.
Why wear a badge?
We ask that you wear your badge all day on the 26 February. This is about raising awareness of the campaign, and is a great opportunity to start a conversation with your colleagues about the CPSU NSW. By reminding them that the reason employment conditions at universities are good is because of strong unions.
Take a selfie of yourself and your workmates.
On the 26 February please take a photo of you and your workmates wearing the badge – you don’t need to have your face in it if you don’t feel comfortable.
If you take a photo, please email it to , or upload it to social media using the hashtag #flextimemytime. The union will compile them and put them of the CPSU NSW social media as well.

Some universities will also be having public events on 26 February with all members invited to participate. Please keep an ear out from your organiser and branch president about this, and try to attend it.
