The É«ÀÇÉçÇøinvites NSW State Emergency Service members who will be at Wollongong HQ on Tuesday 25 August 2026 to attend the official launch of ourÌýÌýValue Us Because We Value YouÌý³¦²¹³¾±è²¹¾±²µ²Ô.
Members have shared their experiences with É«ÀÇÉçÇøstaff, delegates and through the recent É«ÀÇÉçÇøsurvey. They told us they are proud to serve their communities, but disappointed that their commitment is not always matched by the recognition, support, and compensation they deserve.
°Õ³ó±ðÌýsurveyÌýhighlighted serious concerns about occupational violence, workplace bullying, increasing workplace pressures and a growing sense that State Emergency Service staff are too often taken for granted.
°Õ³ó±ðÌýValue Us Because We Value YouÌýcampaign is about changing that. It is about ensuring the people who keep the NSW State Emergency Service operating every day receive the respect, recognition, and support they have earned.
This launch is an opportunity for É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers to stand shoulder to shoulder and send a clear message that NSW State Emergency Service staff are essential to the success of the NSW State Emergency Service and deserve to be properly valued, recognised, and supported.

The launch will feature addresses from É«ÀÇÉçÇøGeneral SecretaryÌýStewart LittleÌýand NSW State Emergency Service delegates. Following the formal proceedings, members are invited to stay for a light lunch and an informal catch-up.
