Update on Special Commission of Inquiry

As you may be aware, the NSW Government has created a Special Commission of Inquiry (previously Special Ministerial Inquiry) into  circumstances surrounding the offences by Wayne Astill at Dillwynia Correctional Centre.
The Inquiry has told the É«ÀÇÉçÇøthat they will be seeking to interview a number of current and former employees of Corrective Services who they believe may have relevant information to their investigation. The inquiry will directly contact ex-employees and the CSNSW Support Team will contact existing employees.
If you are contacted, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøreminds you that your attendance at these interviews is voluntary and you are not required to attend unless a summons has been produced requiring your attendance.
If you decide that you do wish to take part in the interviews, we strongly suggest that you contact the É«ÀÇÉçÇøprior to attending to discuss your matter with a legal representative.
