Travelling compensation dispute – É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers’ update
22 October 2020
Following on from the last update to members on 25 June 2020, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas now appeared in the Industrial Relations Commission (IRC) twice with a further compulsory conference now set for 12 November 2020.
At this time the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis preparing a conciliation paper in relation to the current areas of dispute. To prepare for that, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis seeking further information from members on any issues you may have had since the 2017 introduction of the Purchase Card for the payment of incidental expenses.
If, during that time, you believe that you have had an expense or claim for the incidental allowance as per clause 26.8.1 (b) of the Crown Employees (Public Service Conditions of Employment) Reviewed Award 2009 declined, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwould like to know. Please provide details by filling out the survey linked below.
While our focus at this point in time is mostly on incidental expenses, members who have any other claims in relation travelling compensation that have not been previously raised with the É«ÀÇÉçÇøcan also use this survey to provide details to the PSA.
You can take the survey .
This survey will close on Friday 30 October 2020.Â
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill provide a further report back to members after the next appearance in the IRC on 12 November 2020.
