Transport for NSW: mobility update and members’ meeting
7 May 2026
Your union, the Public Service Association (PSA), continues to progress matters relating to the mobility process on behalf of members.
We remain seriously concerned about how this process is operating and the impact it is having on members.
Transport for NSW originally stated the restructure would cut 950 jobs, yet around 1,600 employees are already in mobility, with more still expected to enter with the figure expected to exceed 2000.
This does not stack up.
Members have also raised concerns about large case manager workloads, unclear contact arrangements when case managers are away, lack of proper support for employees with a disability, poor visibility of available roles, limited wellbeing check-ins, and delays in receiving VR estimates.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas written to Transport for NSW seeking answers and urgent improvements to the process, including more case managers, clearer vacancy information, better support for affected employees, and earlier VR estimates.
You can view the letter HERE.
