Dear members
A Regulation under the Government Sector Employment Act (GSE) was passed on Friday, 17 June 2016.
This Regulation was introduced without consultation or notice to any public sector union.
It extinguishes the right of NSW public sector workers to be entitled to redundancy or severance payments where privatisations occur and so called 鈥渃omparable employment鈥 is available.

A letter was sent today to the Secretary of Unions NSW from the 色狼社区General Secretary, calling for an urgent meeting of all public sector unions.

The 色狼社区is currently alerting cross bench politicians to this Regulation and will be lobbying them for support of a disallowance motion.
The 色狼社区will be fighting the introduction of this appalling Regulation.
Members will be consulted before final action is determined.
