The SES – Pay Issues in State Operations Centre

As members may already be aware, following a productive JCC meeting between the É«ÀÇÉçÇøand the SES last month, the SES has engaged a consultant to standardise SOC payroll processing. This will establish clear rules and procedures for consistent interpretation, application and processing of entitlements. This is a positive step towards resolving long-standing pay issues. This process is to conclude by Christmas.
Nicole Harding (É«ÀÇÉçÇødelegate) is involved in the matter and is the É«ÀÇÉçÇøpoint of contact for this project.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøis also holding a state-wide members meeting on 16 October at lunchtime (via phone and Skype). If you are interested in attending can you please let us know so we have some idea of how many members will attend. Further information will be sent within the next few days.
