Take Home Pay Orders – Ability Options
The CPSU NSW hasÌýbeen meeting with members to provide further information on Take Home Pay Orders. The Fair Work ActÌýprovides protection of worker’s pay rates by way of a Take Home Pay Order.
TheÌýCPSU NSWÌýcanÌýensure your payÌýis protected by pursuing a case for membersÌýwho find their pay is reducedÌýas a resultÌýofÌýthe expiry of the copied-State awards and transition to the SCHADS Award. Your pay includes your salary or your base rate of pay including allowances, penalty rates currently paid.
The CPSU NSWÌýadvises membersÌýtoÌýlook atÌýtheir pay slipsÌýboth before and after the transitionÌý toÌýsee if there has been a reduction in pay.ÌýThere must be an actual reduction in take home pay before a case can be made.
As a member of the CPSU NSWÌýyou are a member of a strong union that will take action to protect your pay.
