É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) saves vote for TAFE NSW Western Institute members
There was an administrative error made by TAFE NSW in providing employee information that resulted in all É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) members at Western Institute being excluded from the Protected Action Ballot. Thank you to all members who reported this to us, and reported this to Institute management.
This morning, the É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) lodged an application (that TAFE NSW supported) to successfully amend the Protected Action Ballot Orders to include all the É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) members employed at Western Institute. This is excellent news and allows all members at Western Institute to participate in the ballot.
For future reference, you may have been excluded from the roll of voters because your information is out of date. Please contact the É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) Member Support Centre on 1800 772 679 to update your details. Also contact your local HR department to ensure the details with TAFE NSW are accurate. This will ensure you are included in any future votes for É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) members.
All É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) members are reminded to please vote in the ballot. It is very important you have your say as we need a majority of all members to participate for the vote to be recognised.
The union recommends members vote YES to show TAFE NSW that É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) members will not endorse any cuts to conditions, and a sub-standard enterprise agreement like the last version.
