TAFE NSW: Changes to PeopleSoft access for Education Administration Support

Your union has contacted TAFE NSW management about the procedure released this week on entering education data in student management systems, and asking for absolute clarity regarding tasks that Education Administration Support (EAS) staff carry out for both Head Teachers and Teachers.
The CPSU NSW has been reassured this access will not add to your current role and there is no expectation you will take on extra work.
The union has made it clear that entering marks and other educational activities (a legislative responsibility of teaching staff) should not fall to an EAS, and EAS staff should not be held responsible if data is entered incorrectly.
Members are encouraged to contact their delegates with any concerns, experiences, or issues they would like raised. Every member’s input strengthens our collective advocacy.
