Support for Officer A

The POVB and É«ÀÇÉçÇøhave received numerous requests from Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) members to set up financial support for First Class CO Officer A from Lismore Court Escort Security Unit, by donating a Recreation Leave Day in line with CSNSW protocols.
Officer A and his family have suffered significant financial loss since the Lismore incident and subsequent Supreme Court trials, which have had a profound toll on their lives. CSNSW staff members who wish to support Officer A now have the opportunity to donate a day’s Recreation Leave or a monetary dollar amount. This will be of enormous financial support to him and his family.
Staff who are entitled to MORE than four weeks Recreation Leave can donate one day of Rec Leave. To donate Rec Leave, please print out and complete the Authority to Pay Leave Form.
Staff who receive four weeks’ Recreation Leave (Five Day Workers), can donate a monetary amount. To donate, please complete the Authority to Deduct Nominated Amount Form.
Please nominate a POVB Delegate or Member in your workplace to circulate the forms from the above links. Seven Day locations can donate a day’s Recreation Leave and Five Day Locations can nominate a dollar amount. All CSNSW staff (Non-Custodial and COVB) are welcome to donate.
