State Emergency Services: new directorate proposed

State Emergency Services: new directorate proposed

The Public Service Association has been notified of a proposed restructure in the State Emergency Services (SES) and we further understand it is in early stages with a review of the functional realignment of some sections of the organisation and the creation of a new directorate, however an organisational structure has not yet been proposed.

The SES has committed that there will be no job losses as a result of this change and they  are aware of their obligations to consult meaningfully on any such organisational change with your union.

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøunderstands consultation on the Change Management Plan and a proposed structure is anticipated to begin in the New Year.

Be assured that the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill engage across the SES membership to ensure that we provide comprehensive feedback.
