Southern Cross University: Planned return to campus

Your union, the CPSU NSW, has been provided with the Southern Cross University (SCU) communication to staff about the planned Return to Campus on 4 January 2021.
The CPSU NSW is deeply concerned about the timing of this communication given the proximity to the Christmas break and the lack of advice and support to staff on such an important issue.
The CPSU NSW is meeting with SCU tomorrow morning to discuss our concerns and the practical implications of such a decision.
The CPSU NSW has requested a copy of risk assessments and COVID Safe Plans prepared by the University. These have not been provided to date.
Members will be provided with an update after the conclusion of the meeting tomorrow.
