Dear ServiceFirst Members,
Congratulations on making it clear that you’re not going sit back and allow this Government to privatise and offshore your jobs without a fight.
Instead, you’ve decided to stand together and fight.
Members voted strongly in favour of taking action in our online poll and in meetings in Parramatta and Haymarket.
Lunchtime walk outs will occur simultaneously this Thursday at 12:30pm at both McKell and Parramatta.
This is your chance to show the Government that it’s not just the privatisation of the electricity network that the people of NSW oppose – we want all our public services to remain in public hands!
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill be calling upon all our members and supporters in these two areas to join you on the day.
Bring your colleagues, your friends and your family!
McKell members – É«ÀÇÉçÇøGeneral Secretary Anne Gardiner will be waiting to greet you in the forecourt.
Parramatta members – É«ÀÇÉçÇøAssistant General Secretary Steve Turner will be waiting downstairs to support you in your stand.
The Government thinks it can let the decision to privatise and offshore your jobs slide under the radar before the election. Let’s have a show of strength that can’t be ignored.
