Service NSW July update – July 2016 (PDF version)

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas lodged your new Award with the Industrial Relations Commission and it will be effective 1 July 2016 for two years.

This Award covers your conditions, rights and entitlements as an employee of Service NSW.

All Service NSW employees will now receive the 2.5 percent pay rise, with their first full pay as of 1 July 2016 and also in 2017 as a result of the Award being lodged with no disputes.

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøthanks members involved in the negotiating team.

Service NSW delegates’ committee

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøis seeking to establish its first Service NSW Delegates’ Committee. It will be made up of É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers employed by Service NSW to cover and represent the needs of employees across the state.

The delegates will help identify the wider needs and issues being faced by Service NSW employees. The Committee will meet four times a year at É«ÀÇÉçÇøHouse, Sydney to discuss these important issues and escalate them through the union.

It is beneficial to get a good cross classification group established to represent all Service NSW employees.

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøbelieves in building strength as a collective voice to maintain and improve your current working conditions.

Please ensure your membership details are correct by visiting , as the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill be calling for nominations through email.
