Service NSW Driver tester bulletin

Service NSW Driver tester bulletin – August 2017 (PDF version)

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been inundated with information from members in different service centres regarding the unilateral decision of Service NSW to change the rostering arrangements of driver testers.

Despite information provided by Service NSW to driver testers, at no such time has the É«ÀÇÉçÇøagreed to the changes proposed by the correspondence from Service NSW on 13 July.

The 19-day month has existed well before the driver testing functions transitioned to Service NSW. The É«ÀÇÉçÇøsees no reason why these practices, which have already met the operational needs, should be discontinued.

The fundamental concern of the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis Service NSW has orchestrated these ‘requirements’ through the implementation of the WFM system and through its inability to properly recruit to CSR positions within the Service NSW network.

As Service NSW will not entertain any alternate rostering arrangements, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas had no option but to seek the matter disputed in the NSW Industrial Relations Commission.

As part of the dispute, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis seeking information from affected members and their ‘consultations’ with their Centre Management over these proposed changes.
