Your new RMS Award – Have your say
The Roads & Maritime Services Consolidated Salaries Award 2016 that sets out your wages and conditions of employment is due for renegotiation.
Your participation and input into this process is vital.
Early in 2017, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøand other transport unions will be lodging a new log of claims at the NSW Industrial Relations Commission (IRC). As part of our consultation process É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers are asked to fill in a short Survey to help identify issues of greatest importance to them.

Award feedback meetings
In addition to the survey the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill hold a series of member meetings to provide feedback on the survey results and undertake further consultation, so you and fellow members can best inform our negotiations. These meetings will take place in February 2017, and notice will be provided closer to the dates.
RMS Award Steering Committee
Together with developing your log of claims, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis establishing an RMS Award Steering Committee. This will be made up of É«ÀÇÉçÇøRMS members and supported by É«ÀÇÉçÇøIndustrial Staff. Training will be provided to members. This is a great way to be more involved in your union and make sure that the interests of your fellow members are heard.
