Revenue NSW – Restructure update May 2018

In our last update, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøinformed that we were in discussions with DFSI regarding VRs and direct assignments, and would relist our dispute in the IRC if those discussions did not achieve a sensible outcome.

Over the last 4 business days, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been in constant discussions with DFSI around this matter. In order to clarify confusion around the process, DFSI and the É«ÀÇÉçÇøagreed to discuss the contents of any further communication, and agree to its contents.

Unfortunately, that communication has not been agreed to by 4:30pm on Tuesday 29 May; however, we are hopeful it will be agreed to and distributed tomorrow morning (Wednesday 30 May).

Members are rightfully concerned about the process, and are seeking further communication. I do not wish to prejudice the discussion occurring between the É«ÀÇÉçÇøand DFSI, however members need to know that the union is indeed forcing the issue around direct assignments and those that wish to remain not be put through any form of interview process. This issue remains the priority for the É«ÀÇÉçÇøIndustrial team.

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøalso encourages those who are sure they wish to seek a VR to ensure you express your interest by the 31 May.
