Resources Regulator: Monthly Review

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been notified of a new document being introduced by the Resources Regulator, titled Monthly Review, Guidance for Resources Regulator Employees and Supervisors. The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwas not made aware of any consultation regarding this document, and only become aware of its existence when advised by concerned members. The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas had contact with the Regional NSW Industrial Relations team, receiving the following response:
‘the Monthly Report process has been in place for around three (3) years and was an initiative of a previous Deputy Secretary, Ms Lee Shearer. There has been extensive staff consultation on the process over the period it has been in place.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been given until COB Friday 9 October 2020, to provide feedback or the Resources Regulator will issue the revised Guidance document and Template – Monthly Review next week, with a view to ensure a uniform approach across the Resources Regulator.’

If the Resources Regulator does not provide due consideration to feedback raised and attempts to roll out this document without proper consultation with the É«ÀÇÉçÇøand our members, your union intends to lodge an urgent dispute notification in the Industrial Relations Commission.
