Psychologists Award Update – We need your input
22 April 2025
Further to the bulletin distributed on 2 April 2025 (view Here), negotiations for the new Crown Employees (Psychologists) Award are continuing to progress positively.
At this critical stage, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis seeking insight from Psychologists who are also É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers. We are looking to engage with members across all classification levels to assist in establishing work value—that is, the true value of the work currently undertaken by Public Sector Psychologists.
We encourage members to share the outstanding work they are doing in their roles and, provide insights into how their work has evolved over time. This may include aspects such as the nature and complexity of the work, the level of skill or training required, the quality of work, and how it is delivered.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøremains committed to securing a fair and improved Award for Psychologists—an outcome that is only possible through the input and participation of our members.
If you are interested in contributing to these important discussions and helping advocate for better salaries, please contact your Psychology Award Working Group delegates. They can provide further information and connect you with the PSA.
