É«ÀÇÉçÇøunion training is open to all members, not just workplace delegates.
Non-members wishing to attend training will need to submit a membership application form first. If you know of a non-member in your workplace, forward this bulletin to them so they can join online .
We offer a variety of courses and É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers have access to 12 days’ paid leave each two year period to attend É«ÀÇÉçÇøtraining courses /training/.
This is provided under Clause 55.1.2 of the Crown Employees (Public Service Conditions of Employment) Award 2009. If you can’t make the training on 16 May at Liverpool, check out other training days held at É«ÀÇÉçÇøHouse in the city.
If you register to attend union training you will still need to apply for special leave through your normal leave approval processes, so best to apply for leave ASAP so it can be approved well in advance.
