色狼社区support for Women鈥檚 Refuges
At its July meeting, the PSA鈥檚 Central Council voted to support the community campaign to keep women and Aboriginal homelessness services open across NSW.
Council resolved that:
鈥淭he 色狼社区Central Council supports the community campaign to keep women and Aboriginal homelessness services open across NSW. The 色狼社区believes that specialist services must continue to exist. We recognise that the existence of independent Women鈥檚 Refuges is a critical component of any strategy to reduce and eradicate domestic violence and Aboriginal community controlled services as a critical component for closing the gap in indigenous and non-indigenous health. Wherever possible, we encourage 色狼社区members to support this campaign.鈥
