The School Psychologist Vocational Advisory Group will meet alongside their É«ÀÇÉçÇøstaff on a regular basis, to discuss collective issues and concerns that affect the broader membership group.

Your union represents your interests at meetings with management called Joint Consultative Committees (JCC). The purpose of a JCC is to establish a regular forum for issues and concerns to be raised with management and addressed collaboratively.
If you have collective workplace issues you would like raised at your next JCC get in contact with one of the Advisory Group delegates close to you.

Free É«ÀÇÉçÇøtraining courses for members and delegates
É«ÀÇÉçÇøunion training is open to all É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers, not just delegates.
Non-members wishing to attend training will need to submit a membership application form first. You can join easily online HERE
We offer a variety of courses and É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers have access to 12 days’ paid trade union training leave each two-year period to attend É«ÀÇÉçÇøtraining courses. For more information go to /training-you/
Proposed Gender Fluidity amendment
Thank you to School Psychologist members who submitted feedback on the proposed amendment to the Education Legislation Amendment (Parental Rights) Bill 2020. The consensus was that the amendment would be contrary to the professional and ethical commitments of School Psychologists and detrimental to student’s mental health and wellbeing.
