Members have been asking if the Public Service Association (PSA) will still be the union when members are transferred to the private sector.
The answer is YES! The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill still have coverage of our members in ADHC.
This is the most crucial time for you as members to have protection and the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis here to do that. When speaking with your colleagues let them know they are protected by their union. If they aren’t É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers,advise them this is the time to .
Once the two-year guarantee period is over, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill be bargaining with the organisation you are working for, to put in place an agreement which is like an award in the state jurisdiction. In the federal jurisdiction there are modern awards and if you have a unionised workplace, we bargain to have an Enterprise Agreements. The É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill FIGHT to continue with your current conditions of employment and better.
