É«ÀÇÉçÇøCPSU NSW training course available in Gosford

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøCPSU NSW will be running the Work Health and Safety two-day course Gosford on Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 February 2020.
The course will start at 9:30 am and finish by 4:30pm each day.
The course will be held at Gosford RSL Club, 26 Central Coast Highway, West Gosford.
COURSE OUTLINE
Work Health and Safety
The two-day course looks at various rights, entitlements and obligations under the WHS Act 2011 that underpin a safe and healthy workplace including:
- Finding your way around the WHS Act
- WHS duties – who has a WHS duty and what is that duty?
- Consultation – the what, when and how of proper workplace consultation
- Issue Resolution using WHS legislation – is my issue covered under WHS legislation?
- Health & Safety Representatives (HSR) – what is a HSR and how do you get one?
- Risk management and workplace inspections.
É«ÀÇÉçÇøCPSU NSW training courses are available at no charge to members.
The majority of É«ÀÇÉçÇøCPSU NSW members are entitled to paid Trade Union Training Leave to attend these courses. Please check your Award or Agreement for details.
All members are invited and welcome, you do not have to be a delegate to obtain trade union training leave and to attend É«ÀÇÉçÇøCPSU NSW training.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøCPSU NSW provides reasonable travel and accommodation costs to attend our training courses.
