The purpose of the meeting is for Aboriginal members and supporters to discuss with the É«ÀÇÉçÇøAboriginal Advisory Council issues relating to Aboriginal employment.
É«ÀÇÉçÇøPresident, Kylie McKelvie, and É«ÀÇÉçÇøGeneral Secretary, Stewart Little, will be in attendance and are keen to hear from members about how the É«ÀÇÉçÇøshould promote quality Aboriginal employment. The NSW Government is the largest employer of Aboriginal workers across the country.
The Aboriginal Advisory Council has been formed to advise the É«ÀÇÉçÇøon how to promote Aboriginal members’ interests and develop Aboriginal Employment policy.
With the direction the NSW Government is taking with privatisation and cutbacks of services and employment across all Government agencies, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøis working hard to protect the rights and interests of all its members; and protect the services they provide.
