Dear Members
Most of you have heard of Movember, this year the Prison Officers Association of Australasia (POAA) has set a challenge for all Correctional Officers in Australia and New Zealand to get involved in this life saving event.
The POAA is made up of all unions in Australasia that represent staff working in Correctional Environments.
New South Wales has the largest contingent of members in the POAA and this is our opportunity to show our Brothers and Sisters, that we care about the Mental Wellbeing and Physical Health of Correctional staff that work in an environment that unfortunately has an overrepresentation of psychological injury.
If you want to actively participate in the challenge by growing a Mo, send me progressive photos of, before, during and after the face fuzz has blossomed.
You don’t have to grow a Mo to be a part of this challenge, DONATING is the most satisfying way to know that you are making a difference in preventing SUICIDE.
