Parties close in on in-principle agreement

Following constructive discussions with Water NSW, unions and employee bargaining representatives believe the parties are now close to reaching an in-principal agreement on a single enterprise agreement for all Water NSW staff.
At the conclusion of yesterday鈥檚 conciliation conference at the fair Work Commission in Sydney, Water NSW put forward an offer that appears to address most of the key contentious issues that had been major stumbling blocks between the parties.
Water NSW has undertaken to provide the unions with a final 鈥渕arked-up鈥 document setting out the offer, and pending review, we hope to be in a position to seek members鈥 endorsement within the next fortnight.
