NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water: Extension to feedback period for change plan

The Public Service Association (PSA) has sought and been granted a week’s extension to the feedback period for staff affected by the Phase 2 Change Plan for the Water Group. Feedback will now close on 29 April 2026, as we understand staff were informed at an all-staff meeting today.
One of the key reasons the É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas requested the extension of time is that it has been pressing for staff to be provided with access to all new and altered role descriptions. This is so that staff can have the information necessary to provide meaningful and effective feedback regarding the way the work and roles are being imagined and altered through the change process.
It is also so that ‘ring-fenced’ staff can provide feedback on whether they think they have the skills, experience and capabilities to apply for any of the vacant roles.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been informed that the role descriptions for the new roles will be made available to staff and that this ‘may’ occur by close of business today, 21 April.
