The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas received feedback from members about increases in unsustainable workloads across Community Corrections. Your union is concerned that some members have been allocated as much as 160 hours’ work per month. This is well above a safe level of work allocation and puts É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers’ health and safety at risk.
Community Corrections has a legislative obligation under the Work, Health Safety Act 2011 to ensure that you have a safe and healthy workplace. This includes having appropriate workload levels.
WHAT HAS YOUR UNION DONE?
As advised in É«ÀÇÉçÇøBulletin of 12 March, your union met with management in February about workload concerns and other issues. See Bulletin HERE.
COMPLETE É«ÀÇÉçÇøSURVEY
As part of the ongoing effort to protect you in the workplace and push for fair and safe staffing levels, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwould like to hear from members about workloads.
