The É«ÀÇÉçÇørecently wrote to NPWS management with respect to inconsistencies concerning allowing administration staff to work from home.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøis aware some managers allow their staff to work from home, where other managers take a more punitive approach in directing their administration staff to work five days per week in the office, even though their tasks can be performed remotely.
Due to the inconsistencies of managers and increasing workload placed on our administration staff members, the É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas advised NPWS management we will be looking at the role descriptions and the functions that our administration staff members undertake.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas consistently raised workload concerns in resourcing and are continuing to advocate on behalf of administration members employed in NPWS
