Newcastle Contact Centre – Lifts not working

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas been made aware that there is a serious issue with the lifts. É«ÀÇÉçÇøDelegates have raised this with management who has assured them that they are working to resolve the problem. However, it remains unclear as to when this will be resolved.
The É«ÀÇÉçÇøreminds members of their rights under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 section 84 Right of worker to cease unsafe work.
If you have mobility issues and it is unsafe for you to use the stairs the É«ÀÇÉçÇøadvises that you should immediately inform your supervisor and expect that alternative arrangements such as work from another location or from home be made.
