National Heavy Vehicle Regulator update

This morning the Assistant General Secretary, Troy Wright, met with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) which advised Cabinet has approved the transition of Heavy Vehicle Inspection Scheme from TfNSW to the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
TfNSW will be sending out communication to staff today.
TfNSW and the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwill continue to meet in the new year to discuss the transition. However, it is likely this transition will take 18 months.
