After painstakingly building our case for several years, and four lengthy days in conciliation at the Industrial Relations Commission (IRC) the PSA, with the assistance of the Commission, has negotiated a package which the Schools Departmental Committee Executive and the É«ÀÇÉçÇøbelieve is a good outcome that we are willing to recommend to the SAS Staff membership.
If endorsed the package will be listed for a consent hearing at the IRC on September 13 2019.
Your Departmental Committee Executive Delegates and the É«ÀÇÉçÇøwant to make sure that the full package is explained before it goes out to a vote.  That is why we are holding a livestream for all SAS Staff É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers on Facebook and the É«ÀÇÉçÇøWebsite.
You will get the opportunity to hear from Stewart Little the General Secretary of the PSA, our Barrister David Chin as well as vital witness in the case and É«ÀÇÉçÇøVice President Wendy Hurry.
They will outline what we have fought for, the package that you will get to vote on and why we are recommending this package. You will also get the opportunity to ask questions via Facebook on the day.
ONLY MEMBERS CAN VOTE ON THE PAY EQUITY PACKAGE
You must be a member by 12 mid-day on Tuesday 3 September 2019 to be able to vote. Your member number will be provided to you in the email you receive about the package and you will be required to input it prior to voting.
