| Corrective Services NSW has advised the Prison Officers Vocational Branch Goulburn Subbranch and the Prison Officers Vocational Branch State Executive of its intention to commence re-classification of inmates out of Goulburn Correctional Centre, with 42 inmates scheduled to be escorted out of the centre within the next week.
Goulburn Prison Officers Vocational Branch subbranch has submitted a motion to not assist the Department in the decanting of the Goulburn Correctional Centre Main Gaol units two and three to any other centre including the processing of these inmates via the normal reception-room process.
Public Service Association members will continue normal scheduled court and medical movements. The management team will be responsible for the movement of inmates out of Goulburn Correctional Centre, as described above. |
