Mercer STC restructure update

CPSU NSW members at Mercer informed their union of concerns around the STC restructure process.
Members were concerned the Enterprise Agreement process had not been followed and that they had little time to make potentially life changing decisions. The concerns were based on the timing of job offers and lack of clarity around what happened to their positons.
The CPSU NSW made representations regarding this and Mercer will go back and follow the Change Management and Redundancy and Redeployment clauses in the Enterprise Agreement.
What next?
The CPSU NSW will schedule a new meeting early in the New Year to discuss the next steps with members.
