Want to be more involved in your union?
Become a É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) Macquarie University Branch delegate.
Nominations are now open for the following positions to represent members at Macquarie University:
- Delegate x 2
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Assistant Secretary
- Membership Registrar
- Indigenous Representative
- Women’s Officer
- Contacts
As a delegate or other representative, you’ll be involved in:
- Setting the collective targets and objectives of the Branch committee
- Promoting the values and advantages of union membership in your workplace;
- Maintaining regular contact with members
- Recruiting new members with the aim of obtaining 100 percent union membership
- Participating in negotiations with Macquarie University management to advocate on behalf of members
- Assisting members with grievances and other issues they wish to take up with management.
All delegates to the Workplace Group will be given free training by the É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) in their role, as well as ongoing support from the union.
All financial members of the É«ÀÇÉçÇø(CPSU) are welcome to nominate
