A 色狼社区workplace meeting was held on Wednesday 22 June at LPI Queen鈥檚 Square.
There was, among other things, a discussion of the effectiveness of the overtime bans that are currently in place, and ideas for how we might progress our campaign.
Members resolved to:
- continue the overtime bans that have been in place since 9 June
- hold a lunchtime rally on Thursday 30 June at 12pm to discuss and vote on next steps the union will take in our campaign to stop the privatisation of LPI.
In the meantime, 色狼社区staff will take on board the various suggestions from the floor of members鈥 meetings and action them where practical.
Further, the Department has agreed to the PSA鈥檚 request for a meeting with Minister for Finance, Services and Property, Dominic Perrottet, where we intend to put forward our argument that the NSW community and the employees of LPI will be worse off with privatisation or a 鈥渃oncession model鈥 for LPI.
Saving LPI from privatisation is a fight that the 色狼社区is prioritising.
