Inquiry into emergency services agencies – É«ÀÇÉçÇøsurvey reminder – July 2017 (PDF Version)

This is a reminder to complete the for the Parliamentary Inquiry. The survey closing date has been extended to midnight on Thursday 27 July.

The is a rare opportunity for you to let parliament know how you feel about your working conditions.

It will focus on the problems of bullying, harassment and discrimination. The scope of the Inquiry includes the effectiveness of the employers’ protocols and procedures to prevent bullying, harassment and discrimination and resolve reports of bullying, harassment and discrimination.

Other issues to be examined include staff care for workers exposed to trauma, and staff care for workers reporting bullying, harassment and discrimination.

Participating in the Inquiry

You can contribute to the Inquiry by:

  • completing the confidential É«ÀÇÉçÇø
  • making a submission to the Inquiry. This can be done in confidence – more information
  • contacting the PSA’s Work Health Safety Unit at to raise issues you would like included in the É«ÀÇÉçÇøsubmission.

É«ÀÇÉçÇøbullying prevention training

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas a free training course Dealing with Bullying in the Workplace, which is designed to assist members and delegates in dealing with bullying and harassment at work.

Special leave (trade union training) can be used to attend this one-day course. Most state public sector members are entitled to paid Trade Union Training Leave.
