Gosford update for É«ÀÇÉçÇømembers – November 2018 (PDF version)
Last week affected staff received a message from Acting Secretary Jeannine Biviano in relation to the transfer to Gosford.
Initially, as members will recall, the final date for existing staff whether they intended to relocate or not was to be 7 January 2019.
The Acting Secretary’s message speaks about the DFSI’s commitment to supporting staff by way of putting in place additional measures, including identifying and assigning remaining Sydney-based staff to ongoing Sydney-based roles, and offering alternate duties in Parramatta, the CBD or surrounds from January 2019 to 30 April 2019.
For the few remaining Parramatta staff who continue to seek transfer to another Sydney metro role, this extra time should hopefully ease some of the stressors.
É«ÀÇÉçÇøstaff and delegates have been agitating in the background to ensure no member is left behind. We have no doubt that management’s commitment from last week – of alternate duties with extension – is as a result of the role your union has played.
