EVOLVING TRANSPORT: RECRUITMENT & IMPACTED EMPLOYEES

EVOLVING TRANSPORT: RECRUITMENT & IMPACTED EMPLOYEES

  15 February 2021

With the majority of Branches involved in Evolving Transport (ET) having determined their structures, recruitment has begun for new roles. Members who have had their roles deleted in the ET structure have been contacting the É«ÀÇÉçÇøtroubled that they have not been successful in roles, yet employees who hold positions have been successful in gaining roles.

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas written to TfNSW concerned that employees who do not hold substantive positions in the new structure are not being afforded priority assessment at this stage, they have to wait to be declared excess. The É«ÀÇÉçÇøhas sought for TfNSW to priority assess employees in the expanded recruitment process who do not hold substantive roles.

TfNSW are refusing to offer priority assessment for impacted employees at the expanded stage; it will only be offered once an employee is declared excess.

The É«ÀÇÉçÇøis looking to dispute the position of TfNSW further.

If you are an employee who does not hold a substantive position in the ET structure and have not been successful for a role in the expanded process, we would like to hear about your specific circumstances. You can contact the É«ÀÇÉçÇøon
