Bulletin Correction
The School Learning Support Officers Bulletin issued on 23 October 2015 stated:
“Note: Aboriginal Education Officers are not paid overtime. Their rate of pay covers all incidents of employment.”
This is incorrect.
The following is the correct information:
On 9 November 2010, the NSW Industrial Relations Commission varied the Crown Employees (School Administrative and Support Staff) Award removing all provisions that previously prevented Aboriginal Education Officers access to overtime.
